Meet Ray Mullins

Ray Mullins was born in Detroit, Michigan and grew up in Ypsilanti, where he has been a practicing attorney for the past 40 years, specializing in Domestic Relations, Civil Rights, Probate and Education. Prior to his practice, Ray earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 1973 and also has a Bachelor’s degree from Howard University in Washington, D.C. in Economics. Ray served his country in the United States Air Force as an Officer and received an Honorable Discharge with the rank of Captain in 1970.

Some of Ray’s previous experience includes:

  • President of the Ypsilanti Willow Run Branch NAACP (12 years)
  • Board Member of the Fair Housing Center of South East Michigan (23 years)
  • Michigan Board of Pharmacy
  • Trustee of Brown Chapel A.M.E Church
  • Instructor of Washtenaw Community College
  • School board candidate
  • Judicial candidate

Ray’s obligation to helping his clients and commitment as activist in his community has made him passionate about entering government service to better the lives of America’s middle class and the poor. Presently, there are not enough domestic jobs, wages are too low, educational opportunities are being neglected, and the crimes committed by the youth of today are not being effectively addressed. Corruption and cronyism are too prevalent in our government entities, as well as in our country’s, businesses and corporations, political parties and unions. Ray wants to lead our community, through his seat in congress, to make a positive change.

Elect Ray Mullins for a Change!
